kopi kopi cafe and kitchen

are you looking for a new and exciting place to eat and meet in rizal province? do you want to visit antipolo city but is too lazy to drive up to the mountains? you don't have to go far. try kopi kopi cafe and kitchen in cainta, rizal.

kopi kopi cafe and kitchen opened to the public on 18th july, 2010. it is located in the quiet suburbanized village called executive village. the lovely owner/manager, agnes francia, was so kind to invite biyaheng pinoy to visit her ever exquisite coffee shop. we didn't waste time and immediately planned our visit. we were really surprised upon knowing that it wasn't just your usual coffee shop; they also serve great foods.  here are just some of the foods that we've tried:

roasted pumpkin soup (p48). you don't have to wait for halloween, thanksgiving, and christmas only to savor this soup. at kopi kopi cafe and kitchen, they serve this all year round, so each meal is festive and special. this very creamy pumpkin soup topped with crouton is a nice change from your usual traditional soup recipes.

fresh garden salad with tarragon chicken (p98). it's used only with the freshest and crunchiest vegetables (lettuce, carrots, cherry tomatoes) and very tender tarragon flavored chicken. flavor's heightened with sprinkled parmesan cheese and specially made vinaigrette. eating veggies had never been this exciting.

bolognese spaghetti (p108). covered in rich tomato sauce, filled with slowly simmered and fried minced beef and sprinkled with grinded parmesan cheese. laborious method gave the sauce an authentic italian taste. perfectly matched with garlic bread. chopped parsley added for its finishing touch.

chicken burger ala francia (p88). a delicious sandwich, made of tender and mild chicken breast fillet covered with japanese breadcrumbs, deep-fried until golden brown. this could be your perfect snack. very tasty and satisfying yet light on your pocket. it comes with fries and light salad. it is best enjoyed with iced soda.

ginger garlic squid with panache (p178). this could be my highly recommended dish from kopi kopi cafe and kitchen. it is their pan grilled ginger squid. very flavorful, quite healthy and full of surprises. striking colors made this dish look so inviting.  has slight hint of tangy lemon fruit. bon appétit everyone.

aside from the wonderful dishes mentioned above, they are also popular for their delicious cakes and very creamy coffees. we've tried a slice of their chocolate caramel cake (p68/slice) which i truly loved. the experience itself was pure divine and orgasmic, almost indescribable. texture was thick yet very smooth. not too soft, but just right. their black forest cake (p68/slice) was also very good. although i wasn't really a big chocolate fan, i was able to enjoy it so much.

kopi kopi cafe and kitchen doesn't just offer good food and good service.  they also provide a very nice ambiance and free wi-fi connection to their customers.  with all these things they're offering, what more could you ask for?  big thanks to their very knowledgeable workforce, especially chef romy and chef james, our visit was both gratifying and unforgettable.  they're open daily from 6:30am-12mn, located along village east avenue, executive homes, cainta, rizal; kopi.cafe@gmail.com; (02) 240-5068.
